Who we are, what we do, and why we do it.
what is your community event?
We’re a hospitality-driven event company that creates, manages, and stewards experiences for entire communities. Every event is built to give people a reason to step away from their screens, meet their neighbors, and feel like they belong.
what kinds of events do you produce?
Community festivals, farmers markets, and hospitality events, plus our signature events: the Honeybee Festival, Dog Festival, Culinary Festival, Hospitality Festival, and Amelia Wedding Crawl.
who’s behind YCE?
Our founder, Amanda, has spent more than two decades in hospitality, from serving tables at a small Italian restaurant to coordinating banquets at a five-star hotel. She started Your Community Event in 2010 with weddings and family celebrations. Then a 2022 Honeybee Festival showed her that an event could bring a whole town together, and that’s been our focus ever since.
where do you host events?
Our events are currently rooted in Florida, and we’d love to grow alongside more communities over time.

what does partnering with YCE look like?
It depends on what your community needs. Sometimes we dream up something brand new. Sometimes we produce an event on behalf of your organization. And sometimes we’re trusted with a festival people already love, and our job is to protect what makes it special while helping it grow.

Yes, and it’s one of the things we care about most. Whether that means working alongside you or taking the festival on ourselves, we’ll help it keep serving your town and supporting your local economy for years to come.
will you turn our festival into a “YCE event”?
Never. We start by learning what people already love about it, protect what makes it special, and build from there. It stays your community’s festival. We just help it keep going, and keep growing.
can you create a brand-new event for our community?
We’d love to. Tell us about your town, what people care about, and what you wish existed. We’ll help shape an experience that feels like it has always belonged there.
do you offer event consulting?

how do I become a vendor?

what do you look for in vendors?
People and businesses that make their community unique, and who share our hospitality mindset: friendly, welcoming, and happy to chat with guests. We also look for variety, so every event feels like a place to discover something new.
is there a vendor fee?
Fees vary by event and booth size. We’ll share everything up front, so there are no surprises on event day.
what do I need to bring?
[VENDOR REQUIREMENTS: tent, tables, permits, insurance, power]. Once you’re confirmed, we’ll send load-in times, your booth location, and everything else you need to set up with confidence.
