agreement to these terms
1
These terms apply to your use of [WEBSITE URL] and to any event created, managed, or stewarded by Your Community Event LLC (“YCE,” “we,” “us”). If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use our website or attend our events. Individual events may have additional rules, which we’ll post on the event page.
tickets & admission
2
A ticket gives you permission to attend the event it’s issued for. Please keep your ticket or confirmation handy; you may be asked to show it, along with ID, at entry. Tickets may not be resold for more than face value.
Refunds, transfers, and cancellations are covered by our
Refund & Cancellation Policy.
guest conduct
3
Our events are built on hospitality, and we ask every guest to help keep them that way. Treat fellow guests, vendors, volunteers, and staff with respect, follow the rules of each venue, and listen to our team’s directions.
We may refuse entry to, or remove, anyone whose behavior is unsafe, harassing, discriminatory, or disruptive, without a refund. Weapons, illegal substances, and [OTHER PROHIBITED ITEMS] are not allowed at our events.
alcohol, kids & pets
4
Alcohol. Where alcohol is served, you must be 21 or older with a valid ID, and our team and licensed servers may decline service at their discretion. Please drink responsibly and never drink and drive.
Kids. Children are welcome where the event page says so and must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Pets. Pet policies vary by event and venue. Where pets are welcome, they must be leashed, friendly, and under your control, and you’re responsible for them and anything they do. Service animals are always welcome.
photos & media
5
Photos and video are taken at our events. By attending, you allow YCE to use images that include you on our website, social media, and promotional materials, without payment. If you’d rather not be photographed, let our team know. See our Privacy Policy for how to request a photo be removed.
assumption of risk
6
Many of our events take place outdoors and in public spaces, with crowds, uneven ground, weather, food, and animals. We work hard to keep everyone safe, but by attending you accept the ordinary risks that come with these kinds of events, and you’re responsible for your own belongings.
vendors, sponsors & partners
7
Vendors at our events are independent businesses. They’re responsible for their own products, services, pricing, and food safety, and any purchase you make is between you and the vendor. Vendors, sponsors, partners, and volunteers are also bound by their separate agreements with YCE.
changes to events
8
Dates, times, venues, vendors, activities, and schedules may change. We’ll share important updates as early as we can on our website, by email, and on social media.
our website & content
9
Our name, logo, the Gathering Arch mark, event names, photos, and website content belong to Your Community Event LLC or are used with permission. Please don’t copy or use them for commercial purposes without our written permission. Sharing our events with friends and on social media is always welcome.
Please use our website lawfully, and don’t attempt to disrupt it or submit false information through our forms.
disclaimers & limitation of liability
10
Our website and events are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, YCE is not liable for indirect or consequential losses connected to our website or events, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the ticket or service involved. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
governing law
11
Your Community Event LLC is based in Florida. These terms are governed by the laws of the state where the event takes place. If a disagreement comes up, we'd love to talk it through first. Please reach out and we'll do our best to make it right. Any legal dispute will be handled in the courts of the county and state where the event takes place.
updates to these terms
12
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use our website or attend our events means you accept the updated terms.
